Picking "sea grapes" on Izena Island (limited weekday plan)
Sea grape cultivation is carried out around the Izena Fishery Cooperative's direct sales office.
You can try your hand at picking sea grapes at the aquaculture facility.
We will give you a 30g bag of salt water pickled sea grapes as a souvenir.
Tastings will be available for purchase.

Q&A
Do I need an appointment to visit?
Advance reservations are recommended as much as possible, even for individuals. Reservations are especially required for groups (up to 10 people).
Can I bring my children?
Yes. This is a great learning experience for children as they get to pick the super-precious sea grapes.
What is the estimated length of stay?
It usually takes about 30 minutes to be guided through the whole process.
