Please refrain from contacting the government or our association regarding entry to uninhabited islands.
In recent years, we have received many inquiries about sightseeing and camping on uninhabited islands around Izenajima, such as Yanaha Island and Gushigawa Island. However, because these uninhabited islands include private property and protected land, the government and Izenajima Tourism Association do not handle entry permits. The Izena Island Tourist Association sells tours through a travel agency, and only those who use only village-owned land and participate under prescribed conditions are allowed to take tours, based on an agreement with the fishing cooperative, an emergency contact network, and safety management.
