Tourism Promotion and Development Based on the Izena Village Basic Plan

The activities of the Izena Island Tourism Association are being promoted based on the basic plan for the promotion of the tourism industry, which is the basic goal 6 "Creating an attractive island of industry that will flourish in the future" (5) in the second phase of the Izena Village Comprehensive Strategy of the Fifth Izena Village Comprehensive Plan.

The "development" of Izena Island is not simply about increasing the number of tourists, but about creating a related population and preserving the island's nature, culture, and lifestyle, while ensuring that the entire region grows more prosperous and sustainable.

Tourism Association Initiatives and Directions for Development through Tourism

<Tourism will increase the number of restaurants, lodging facilities, and stores, supporting the island's economy. It will also create opportunities for employment and exchange.
History and traditional events related to King Shoen can be combined with tourism and passed on to the next generation.
We will protect the pristine beauty of the ocean, coral reefs, and rich rural landscapes, while communicating their value as tourism resources.
This is an opportunity for both islanders and visitors to learn and grow through meeting and interacting with visitors to the island.

Development Aimed for on Izena Island

Izena Island aims for "sustainable development where people, nature, and culture are in harmony.
We value not only the temporary benefits of tourism, but also the preservation of Izena Island, which we can be proud of for future generations, while protecting the lives of the island's residents and growing together with them.
