The Izena Fishermen's Cooperative Direct Sales Office, located in Seirikaku, Izena Village, sells mozuku, a specialty of Izena Island, as well as sea grapes and other processed marine products directly to the public. Mozuku grown in the coral lagoon that stretches between Izena and Yanaha islands is bathed in sunlight and boasts exceptional taste. Moreover, the processed products, which can be eaten as is without washing, are of reliable quality because the entire process from production to processing is handled by the fishery cooperative.
